These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the YamYam mobile app (the “App”). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use YamYam. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.

Your content

You keep ownership of the recipes, photos, and comments you post (“User Content”). You grant YamYam a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, display, and distribute your User Content within the App for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you post.

Community rules & zero tolerance

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, violent, sexually explicit, deceptive, spam, or that infringes others’ rights. You agree not to abuse, harass, or impersonate other users.

To keep the community safe, YamYam provides tools to report content and block users. We use automated and manual moderation, and we will remove objectionable content and may suspend or remove users who violate these Terms. We aim to act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours.

AI & recipe disclaimer

Recipes and dish information are created by users and/or generated or translated with the help of AI, and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always use your own judgment when cooking. Check ingredients for allergens and food‑safety yourself. YamYam does not provide medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, and is not responsible for the outcome of any recipe.

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse‑engineer, or overload the service.
Don’t use the App to break the law or infringe others’ rights.
Don’t scrape or misuse other users’ data.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these Terms or the community rules. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that recommendations, translations, or any content will be accurate or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YamYam will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on any recipe or content.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
